1933 Morris Cowley 2 seater

1933 Morris Cowley 2 seater with dickey seat in a beautiful colour combination of Brown with Black wings and a Black interior trim.

This series Morris Cowley was produced between 1932 and 1935 with a total production of 39.074 cars.

In August 1931 the new series Morris Cowley was announced with numerous improvements over the previous model. Amongst others chrome finish to all bright parts, easyclean wire wheels, hydraulically actuated Lockheed brakes, improved suspension and a stronger chassis became standard. The Cowley was delivered in the following variants; 4 door saloon with either fixed head or sliding head, 2 seater, 2 door special coupe, traveller's saloon (with fifth rear door) or chassis only.

This car is a beautiful example of the 2 seater model with dickey seat. It wears a 11.9 engine, 4 cylinders with 1.548 cc. It is finished in Brown with black wings and body accentures, black interior trim and a brown hood. The attractive wooden dashboard accentuates the cosy interior that fits 2 adults and for a larger family, the dickey seat can be opened and accomodate a further 2 passengers.

During 1977 this car was imported into the Netherlands, received its current Dutch EU registration and stayed in a private collection for 40 years. In 2016 this Morris was aquired by its current owner.

Currently on Dutch EU registration and ready to be enjoyed.
